General Motors Recalls Cadillacs and Camaros
General Motors has issued a recall for certain Cadillac and Chevrolet models equipped with a 10-speed transmission.
According to the recall report, a transmission control valve in the affected vehicles may experience excessive wear over time. This wear can lead to a gradual loss of pressure within the valve, which could cause harsh shifting or a momentary wheel lock-up.
The affected models include:
- 2019 to 2020 Cadillac CT6
- 2020 to 2021 Cadillac CT4
- 2020 to 2021 Cadillac CT5
- 2020 to 2022 Chevrolet Camaro
Dealers will install transmission control module monitoring software at no cost to owners. Notification letters are scheduled to be sent on April 21.
Approximately 90,081 vehicles are affected.
Range Rovers Recalled for Seat Belt Issue
Land Rover is recalling certain 2025 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles due to a potentially faulty seat belt.
The NHTSA reports that the second-row center seat belt buckle may not latch properly due to a manufacturing error.
Land Rover dealers will replace the seat belt free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent on May 2.
Approximately 7,276 vehicles are impacted by this recall.
Ineos Recalls Grenadiers
Ineos Automotive Americas has issued a recall for certain 2024 Grenadier vehicles.
The NHTSA states that the door button mechanism on the affected vehicles may have been assembled without sufficient grease, leading to the door not latching securely.
Owners will receive free replacement of the door button assemblies. Owner notification letters are slated to be sent between March 31 and May 4.
Approximately 7,022 vehicles are affected.
