IRVINE, Calif. โ€“ March 20, 2025 โ€“ Karma Automotive brought together industry leaders, educators, and community members for its Create Karma 2025 event. The forum focused on the future of automotive technology and its potential impact on Southern California.

Stunning Amaris Coupe Makes World Premiere

The Create Karma 2025 event featured the world premiere of the Karma Amaris. This next-generation Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) performance coupe is designed to provide a blend of luxury and cutting-edge performance.

“Create Karma is our platform to bring the industry, our partners, and our community together to tell our story, spark new ideas, and meaningfully contribute to the future of Southern California,” said Marques McCammon, President, Karma Automotive. “This event is about more than just unveiling new products โ€“ it’s about redefining what’s possible in innovation and how that can create a better future for our communities and the broader industry.”

Three Key Pillars: Community, Technology, and Experience

Create Karma 2025 was organized around three key themes:

    • Community: Karma announced the formation of the Clean Transportation Technology Collaborative. This partnership includes leaders in education, workforce development, business, and technology. The goal is to accelerate job creation and career pathways in the automotive, clean energy, and software sectors in Southern California. Partners in the Collaborative include CerraCap Venture, Inland Southern California United Way, Orange County Business Council, San Diego State University, Sustain SoCal, UC Irvine, and UC Riverside.
    • Technology: In partnership with Intel Automotive, Karma Automotive is developing software-defined vehicles (SDVs). These vehicles will enhance the manufacturing process and the driving experience. At Create Karma 2025, the company demonstrated the impact of SDV technology and how it unlocks the potential of AI. The presentation built upon earlier discussions between Karma and Intel Automotive at CES 2025, focusing on the progress of their joint development activities.
    • Experience: Karma Automotive showcased its next-generation EREV vehicle, the Karma Amaris, alongside its existing models, the 3rd Generation Karma Revero and Revero Invictus. The event also highlighted upcoming ultra-luxury EVs, including the Karma Kaveya super-coupe. Attendees received an exclusive look at the brand’s design philosophy, as well as insights into the company’s vision for both performance and sustainability.

    About the Karma Amaris

The Karma Amaris is anticipated to enter production in Q4 2026. It will be Karma Automotive’s first production 2-door coupe. The Amaris will feature a more powerful EREV powertrain, utilizing a larger, turbocharged 4-Cylinder ICE generator. Acceleration from 0-60mph is estimated at less than 3.5 seconds, peaking at an estimated top speed of 165mph. The body of the Amaris will be made of carbon fiber and aluminum, featuring the latest iteration of the Comet Line design language. Pricing will be announced at a later date.

    About Karma Automotive

It manufactures vehicles at its Karma Innovation and Customization Center (KICC) in Moreno Valley, CA. Karma’s executive, product development, and design headquarters are located in Irvine, CA.

Sales of the 3rd Generation Karma Revero sport sedan are currently underway in the USA and EU. Sales of the Karma Invictus will begin in Q2 2025, followed by the Gyesera EREV four-seater in Q4 2025, and the Amaris coupe in Q4 2026. The Karma Kaveya super-coupe will arrive in 2027, and the Karma Ivara GT-UV in 2028. Both EVs will use SDVA (Software-Defined Vehicle Architecture) developed with Intel Automotive.
