Woman Dies After Pickup Truck Collision
Toronto police are investigating a fatal collision in the city’s west end that claimed the life of a woman in her 70s.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon near the intersection of King Street W. and Massey Street. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene shortly before 3:30 p.m.
According to police reports, the woman sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Police indicated that the driver remained at the scene following the collision. Road closures were implemented in the area as officers began their investigation.
Authorities have requested that drivers use alternative routes while the investigation continues.
