CLINTONVILLE, Wis. – An 87-year-old man from Marion, Wisconsin, has died from injuries sustained in a crash involving his UTV and a pickup truck. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon.

According to the Clintonville Police Department, officers responded to the scene at the intersection of U.S. Highway 45/West Madison Street and Bennett Street around 12:01 p.m. Initial investigations determined that a 2008 Polaris Ranger UTV was traveling south on Bennett Street. The UTV failed to stop at a stop sign and subsequently collided with a 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck that was headed west.

The operator of the UTV was transported by ambulance to the Clintonville Airport for a ThedaStar helicopter, which was to transport him for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, the man died from his injuries before the helicopter arrived.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 46-year-old man from Alma Center, was not injured in the crash.

    Further details are currently unavailable.
