Aishwarya Rai’s Car Involved in Bus Accident
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s luxury car was involved in a collision with a Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus in Mumbai’s Juhu suburb on Wednesday. According to an official, the accident did not result in any injuries.

A video circulating on social media showed the high-end car with the red BEST bus behind it. The video footage indicates the car did not sustain significant damage and drove away shortly after. A BEST official stated the bus was coming from the Juhu bus depot.
Aftermath of the Incident
Following the incident, a security guard from the residence of Aishwarya Rai’s father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, allegedly confronted the bus driver. The BEST official, as reported by PTI, said, “The bus driver got down to see the damage suffered by the car. At this point, a bouncer from a nearby bungalow came out and slapped the driver.”
Police arrived at the scene after the driver contacted the police control room. The official added that supervisory staff from the Bachchan residence later apologized to the bus driver. The matter was resolved on the spot, and no formal complaint or First Information Report (FIR) was filed.
Initially, it was unclear whether Aishwarya Rai was in the car at the time of the accident. Sources later confirmed to India Today that the actress was unharmed, stating “People close to the actor have confirmed that she is absolutely fine and there was no ‘accident.’” The police also confirmed that no case was filed due to the amicable resolution between the parties involved.
