Audi Announces Price Increase Across Model Range
Luxury car manufacturer Audi has announced that it will be increasing prices of its vehicles in India by up to 2% starting from May 15, 2025. The decision comes as a result of rising input costs and changes in exchange rates.

According to Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, “We are implementing a price adjustment of up to 2% due to the increase in the exchange rate and input cost. This correction is essential for Audi India and our dealer partners to ensure sustainable growth.” He further emphasized the company’s commitment to minimizing the impact of the price hike on valued customers.
Audi’s current portfolio in India includes a range of models such as the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q3, Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi S5 Sportback, Audi RS Q8, Audi Q8 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, Audi e-tron GT, and Audi RS e-tron GT.
The price hike comes at a time when Audi is also making significant moves in the electric vehicle segment. Internationally, Audi’s EV sub-brand in China has unveiled its first production model, the E5 Sportback. This electric vehicle is based on the Advanced Digitized Platform (ADP) developed in collaboration with SAIC Motor.
The E5 Sportback boasts an 800-volt charging technology, allowing it to gain a range of 370 kilometers in just 10 minutes of charging. The model will be available in four variants, offering both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options with power outputs ranging from 300 hp to 787 hp in the high-performance version. A variant with a 100 kW battery pack is expected to offer a range of up to 770 km on a single charge.
While the price hike may impact customers in India, Audi remains committed to its sustainable growth strategy while continuing to innovate in the electric vehicle space.
