If you’re the type of person who believes buying a pre-configured car undercuts the personalized luxury experience of a Bentley, you’re not alone. Part of the appeal of a top-tier SUV is the opportunity to fully customize it, making it a unique expression of your individual taste.
However, the new Bentley Bentayga Atelier Edition presents a counterpoint to that argument. This special edition offers a carefully curated selection of design choices that might prove quite appealing to many prospective buyers. Available for the Bentayga Hybrid, V8, and Extended Wheelbase models, the Atelier Edition centers around six distinct color combinations.
The exterior color options include Light Onyx, Rubino, Porcelain, Quartzite, Light Emerald, and Obsidian Crystal. The first five colors are drawn from Mulliner’s legacy colors, with Obsidian Crystal being a new addition. Although the initial offerings are somewhat limited, Bentley has stated that the Atelier Edition can be painted in any of their extensive color range. The interior, however, is where the curation of this special edition truly shines. The six configurations all feature a two-tone cabin, highlighting a primary color across the seats, dashboard, and door panels. A secondary color then provides contrast, often complementing the exterior finish, and is echoed in the piano gloss trim and dashboard inlays.
On the exterior, all Atelier Edition Bentaygas are distinguished by their polished and satin-finished 22-inch ten-spoke wheels, vertical vane grilles finished in chrome, and a secondary matrix grille with a matching satin finish. The front fenders are adorned with a fairly prominent Atelier Edition badge, while the rear, houses a more subtle emblem to subtly identify the limited edition.
For example, consider the Light Emerald configuration.

Inside, it features a Cumbrian Green and Portland color combination. Its seats showcase Harmoni Diamond quilting finished with the contrasting accent color, with complementary details in the headrests and seat piping. Instead of an embroidered insignia on the headrests, this configuration features a subtle tag confirming its place in this exclusive series.

The exact production numbers of each trim are not yet available, though Bentley has confirmed that it is indeed a limited-edition model. Buyers of this special edition can expect a wealth of Mulliner extras, including self-leveling wheel badges, mood lighting, a five-seat Comfort Specification, and Bentley’s Diamond Illumination. If you opt for one of the V8-equipped models, you’ll also get Dynamic Ride and all-wheel steering as standard features.
The Atelier Edition is currently available for order through Bentley dealers. Pricing details have not yet been publicly announced.
