If you believe that buying a pre-configured car defeats the purpose of owning a Bentley, you’re not alone. Part of the experience of purchasing an ultra-luxury SUV is the ability to personalize it. However, the new Bentley Bentayga Atelier presents an appealing reason why some curated choices might be a good thing.
Available for the Bentayga Hybrid, V8, and Extended Wheelbase models, the Atelier Edition centers on six carefully selected color combinations. Exterior paint options include a selection of elegant shades like Light Onyx, Rubino, Porcelain, Quartzite, Light Emerald, and Obsidian Crystal. Excepting Obsidian Crystal, the five other colors are drawn from Mulliner’s legacy colors.

While the initial palette is limited, Bentley offers the option to paint the Atelier Edition in any of its full range of colors. The interior specifications, however, represent the most curated aspect of this special edition model. All six configurations offer a two-tone cabin. The primary color covers the Bentayga’s seats, dashboard, and door panels. A secondary color provides contrast, often mirroring the exterior finish and enhancing the SUV’s piano gloss trim and dashboard inlays.
The exterior of all Atelier Edition Bentaygas features polished and satin-finished 22-inch ten-spoke wheels, vertical vane grilles adorned with chrome, and a satin-finish secondary matrix grille. Atelier Edition badging distinguishes the model, appearing on front fenders and a more subtle emblem in the rear of the car.

For instance, the Light Emerald configuration features a Cumbrian Green and Portland color combination inside. The seats feature Harmoni Diamond quilting in a contrasting accent color, providing a striking detail that echoes on the headrests and seat piping. Instead of an embroidered Atelier Edition insignia, this configuration sports a small tag within the cabin, confirming its exclusive lineage. While the exact production numbers remain undisclosed, Bentley has classified it as a limited edition model.
A benefit of opting for the curated special editions is the inclusion of numerous Mulliner extras. These include self-leveling wheel badges, mood lighting, the five-seat Comfort Specification, and Bentley’s Diamond Illumination. V8-equipped models also feature Dynamic Ride and all-wheel steering. The Atelier Edition is available through your Bentley dealer, and pricing has yet to be announced.
