Cadillac is set to introduce a new all-electric vehicle to its V-series, the performance-focused lineup of cars that combine style, technology, and power. The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V, described as fast and stylish, is set to begin production this spring at General Motors’ Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee, according to Green Car Reports.

The Lyriq-V will carry a price tag of $79,990, including a $1,395 destination charge.
While the Lyriq-V will run on the standard Lyriq’s 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack, Green Car Reports notes that its dual-motor powertrain has been upgraded to 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Cadillac estimates a range of 285 miles, made possible in part through a single motor per axle. The Lyriq-V is the most expensive version of the Lyriq, but EV owners will also get long-term cost savings, the company said, thanks to reduced maintenance, like fewer oil changes, alongside fuel savings.
All-electric vehicles also provide a quieter and more comfortable ride, with zero tailpipe emissions. While battery manufacturing and charging have an environmental impact, the transition to renewable energy represents significant progress.
For example, one data analysis by Reuters found that a Tesla Model 3 would be driving only 13,500 miles before it offsets its manufacturing’s environmental costs when compared to a gas-powered Toyota Corolla. The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V includes new features such as V-mode–for customizable settings, a carbon fiber trim option, and V-specific sound. Cadillac spokespeople said the sound delivers a “multilayer experience exclusive for the V.”
