Cadillac Unveils All-Electric 2026 Escalade IQL

Cadillac is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) offerings with the introduction of the 2026 Escalade IQL. This all-electric, long-wheelbase version of the iconic full-size luxury SUV is poised to enter production in mid-2025.

With a starting price of $132,695, the Escalade IQL aims to combine impressive performance, luxurious features, and advanced technology. The launch of the Escalade IQL is part of Cadillac’s wider plan to transition to an all-electric lineup by 2030.

The Escalade IQL boasts significant enhancements over the standard Escalade IQ. These include increased passenger and cargo space, making it a practical choice for consumers seeking both luxury and functionality. It offers a range of 460 miles on a single charge and can recover up to 116 miles of range in just 10 minutes using fast charging. This addresses a major concern for EV buyers: range anxiety.

Powered by a 24-module GM battery with a 205 kWh capacity, the Escalade IQL delivers substantial power. It generates 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in a mere 4.7 seconds with the Velocity Max package. The vehicle also features a maximum towing capacity of 7,500 lbs, appealing to customers who require both power and versatility.

Inside, the Escalade IQL offers a spacious interior with over four inches of additional legroom in the third row. Cadillac’s technology-focused design incorporates a 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar display, providing an immersive infotainment experience. Advanced driver-assistance features, including Super Cruise, and a standard 21-speaker AKG Studio audio system (with an optional 42-speaker upgrade) further enhance the driving experience.

Unique design elements, such as a longer silhouette, contribute to enhanced passenger comfort and cargo capacity. An eTrunk compartment under the hood adds 12.2 cubic feet of storage space. Interior luxury features include massaging seats, heated and ventilated options, and stowable tray tables for rear passengers.

The Escalade IQL will be available globally, including in the U.S., Canada, and China. It’s designed to appeal to a growing segment of eco-conscious luxury SUV buyers. Cadillac is seeking to reclaim its position as a leader in the luxury segment with this new model.
