MOSCOW — A pickup truck crashed into a downtown Moscow business on Friday morning, causing significant damage and disrupting traffic.
The Ford F-150 drove into the Hodge and Associates Inc. Engineers building on Washington Street at approximately 5 a.m. Friday, according to the Moscow Police Department.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Gritman Medical Center in Moscow as a result of the crash, according to Moscow Fire Chief Brian Nickerson.
The structural damage to the brick building forced officials to close the sidewalk and two lanes of traffic as crews worked to dislodge the vehicle. All lanes of traffic were back open by approximately 4:30 p.m., according to the Moscow Police.
The incident caused significant disruption in the downtown area, but no further details about the driver’s condition or the cause of the crash were immediately available.
