CES 2025: Automotive Tech Takes Center Stage
The 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is showcasing the automotive industry’s latest advancements. This year, both Honda and BMW have unveiled exciting new technologies, offering a glimpse into the future of driving.
Honda’s Bold EV Concepts
Honda has captured attention with the unveiling of two new electric vehicle (EV) prototypes, currently known as the 0 Saloon and 0 SUV. While official names are pending, the designs are anything but ordinary. The saloon model in particular boasts a striking appearance, described by some as a mashup of two Lamborghinis with its distinctive bubble-like profile and angular rear. Beyond aesthetics, these concepts feature advanced AI-based infotainment systems, promising a seamless user experience.

BMW’s Panoramic iDrive
BMW is revamping its in-car experience with a new infotainment system, set to debut in all new models from the end of 2025. The centerpiece is a panoramic display that curves around the dashboard’s base. Rather than a traditional screen, this display uses a black strip to project graphics directly onto the windscreen’s lower edge. In addition, a 3D head-up display will be offered as an optional upgrade. While a large touchscreen remains a standard feature, BMW is doing away with the classic rotary dial controller. All vehicle functions will be controlled via the touchscreen or through voice commands.

These announcements highlight the automotive industry’s ongoing integration of cutting-edge technology, promising a future where vehicles are not only efficient and powerful, but also seamlessly connected and user-friendly.
