A Kerala-based jewellery shop owner, Jaison Jacob, was robbed of gold bars worth ₹1.32 crore and his luxury car by a five-member gang near KG Chavadi in Coimbatore on Saturday morning. Jacob, 55, from Thrissur, and his employee Vishnu, 20, were traveling to their hometown with 1.25 kilograms of gold bars they had purchased from Chennai.
