The Columbus City Council has authorized the acquisition of a new ¾ ton pickup truck for the Department of Public Works, at a cost of $46,942. This purchase will replace the department’s existing 2003 GMC Sierra, which is slated for sale on the Wisconsin Surplus Online Auction. The new truck was budgeted as part of the 2025 Capital Improvement Plan.
