Crash on Decatur Boulevard Overturns Pickup, Minor Injury Reported
A collision on Decatur Boulevard near Cactus Avenue caused a pickup truck to overturn on Sunday afternoon, temporarily blocking all southbound lanes, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. when a sedan traveling west on Frias Avenue struck the pickup truck, which had the right of way while heading south on Decatur Boulevard. The driver of the sedan, identified as the at-fault party, sustained a minor injury and was transported to a local hospital, according to officials.
Authorities do not suspect impairment as a factor in the crash. The investigation into the accident is ongoing, but all lanes have since reopened.
