A recent video circulating online shows a Tesla Cybertruck successfully rescuing a Ford F-150 that was stuck in the snow. The footage, shared on the Cybertruck Owner Club forum, captured the attention of many Tesla fans, while also prompting some speculation about the authenticity of the event.
The video, posted by Cybertruck owner J. Graham from British Columbia, Canada, shows a Ford F-150 struggling to escape a snowy trap. Despite the driver’s efforts with traction boards and assistance from others, the truck remained stuck, its wheels spinning uselessly. The engine’s loud revving further highlighted the vehicle’s predicament.
As the Ford F-150 remained stuck, J. Graham, who was recording the video, jokingly asked the owner if the vehicle was a Cybertruck. This comment references previous instances where Cybertrucks had faced difficulties in snowy conditions, leading Tesla to publish a guide to assist owners.
Following the initial exchange, Graham showcased his Cybertruck, parked nearby and clear of the snow. He then used the Cybertruck and a tow strap to effortlessly pull the Ford F-150 free. The video concludes with Graham’s simple remark, “Simple.”
The video quickly gained traction among Tesla enthusiasts. Many were happy to see the Cybertruck in a position of assistance, especially given prior reports of the vehicle being challenged in snowy conditions. One Cybertruck owner, REM, commented on the video, “I can tell by the Cybertruck’s wheel orientation that this isn’t your first rodeo. The Cybertruck is an absolute powerhouse in these types of scenarios.” Zane Edwards, another Cybertruck owner, added, “Nice job! What tire setup did you use on the Cybertruck? They look pretty beefy.”
Despite the celebration, some viewers expressed skepticism, questioning the video’s authenticity. However, Graham replied to these concerns, asserting the video’s genuineness and confirming that the Ford F-150 driver was indeed stuck.
