TAMPA, FLA. – Newly released video captures the moment a pickup truck collided with a Hillsborough County deputy’s cruiser. The incident occurred Wednesday near Tampa.
The deputy, with both lights and sirens activated, was en route to an emergency call when a white pickup truck speeding through an intersection struck the patrol car. The impact caused the cruiser to overturn.
The deputy was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
