Here’s a breakdown of the five most expensive vehicles in the Dubai police fleet:

The combined value of these five vehicles totals an astonishing $5.3 million.

In 2017, Major Sultan Al Marri of Dubai Police’s General Department of Transport and Rescue spoke to CNN about this strategy, explaining that the goal is to connect with the public. “We’re not looking to just show off with the car, we’re looking to show tourists how friendly the police is here in Dubai,” he stated. “We are looking for ways to connect with people all the time.”
