El Paso Police Dismantle Luxury Car Theft Ring
EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police have apprehended a group of car thieves who were targeting high-end vehicles, with losses estimated at nearly one million dollars. The El Paso Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force announced that four suspects were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the theft of four Porsche 911 cars from a building in Central El Paso.

According to police, the vehicles were recovered and the suspects were arrested within six hours of the robbery. All four individuals were booked into the El Paso County Jail located downtown.

Current Status
As of Friday afternoon, jail records indicate that Ubieta is the only suspect who has been released on bond. The other three suspects remain in custody at the El Paso County Jail.
