El Paso Police Bust Luxury Car Theft Ring, Arresting Four in Porsche Heist
EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police have dismantled a car theft ring that specifically targeted luxury vehicles, with the total value of the stolen cars estimated to be close to one million dollars. The El Paso Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force announced Wednesday’s arrests, which were in connection with the robbery of four Porsche 911 cars from a building in Central El Paso.

Police apprehended four suspects in the case:

Authorities reported that the vehicles were recovered, and the suspects were arrested within six hours of the theft. All four suspects were booked into the El Paso County Jail in Downtown. According to jail records, as of Friday afternoon, Ubieta was the only suspect who had posted bond. The other three suspects remained in county jail.
