Recently, Mercedes revealed its new CLA electric saloon, which is expected to have a range of 492 miles from its 85kWh battery pack and electric motor. But what EVs are currently available with the best range?

Porsche Taycan – 422 miles

The BMW iX is a top-tier electric SUV, recently updated with refreshed interior trim and a new front end. The xDrive60 model has a 109.2kWh battery pack, allowing a range of up to 426 miles on a single charge. Inside, passengers will find high-quality materials and generous space for passengers.
Peugeot E-3008 – 435 miles

For an electric SUV with a solid range, the Peugeot E-3008 is a compelling choice. The 2025 model comes with an optional 97kWh battery pack and electric motor, offering a claimed range of 435 miles. The Mercedes EQS leads the firm’s EV lineup. With a 108.4kWh battery pack, it offers a remarkable 481-mile range, the longest of vehicles listed here. Despite a curb weight exceeding 2.5 tonnes, its acceleration from 0-60 mph takes six seconds, and it can reach a top speed of 137 mph.
