Electric Cars With the Longest Range
For many, a car represents freedom – the ability to travel, whether it’s a commute or a cross-country adventure. However, if you’re an electric vehicle (EV) enthusiast planning extended trips, you’re likely familiar with range anxiety, the fear of running out of battery power before reaching your destination. It’s a valid concern, especially considering the evolving state of charging infrastructure across North America.
You’re not alone in this concern. A Cars.com survey revealed that 68% of EV shoppers considered range a major factor when evaluating EVs, and 63% of current EV owners cited range as a primary factor in their purchase decision.
With this in mind, we’ve compiled a list of EVs that are currently available for sale, based on their Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published ratings for the 2025 model year, and offering a minimum of 325 miles of total driving range. Initially, our cutoff for this list was 300 miles, but battery technology has advanced significantly since we began this review. Consequently, the “Over 300 Club” now boasts over 30 vehicles as of this writing.
The vehicles span various styles and sizes, ranging from luxurious SUVs and high-performance sports sedans to pickup trucks and practical crossovers. It’s important to remember that these ranges are based on EPA-estimated figures and are just estimates. Manufacturer estimates were not used for this evaluation; we prioritized a standardized dataset for comparison, relying on the EPA figures. We are also omitting vehicles that lack EPA estimates at this time.
Your actual range may fluctuate based on multiple factors, including weather conditions, the type of driving (city vs. highway), driving style, and the vehicle’s occupancy. The prices listed below are for the specific trim that offers the best driving range. In cases where multiple trims offer the same maximum range, we use the most affordable one. It is worth noting that the driving range can differ noticeably depending on your trim choice. Furthermore, any local, state, or federal EV tax incentives were not included in our pricing information.
