Evera Cabs Expands Fleet through BluSmart Acquisition

Evera Cabs (Prakriti Mobility) has announced the acquisition of 500 electric cabs previously operated by BluSmart, significantly expanding its presence in the National Capital Region’s (NCR) high-demand airport cab sector. The move comes after BluSmart suspended operations due to a SEBI ban related to fund diversion allegations against its associated entities.

The company has already taken possession of 220 vehicles and plans to reclaim the remaining 280 in the coming days. Alongside fleet integration, Evera is actively recruiting BluSmart drivers, including women, to ensure service readiness. Around 150 drivers have already begun working with Evera, with ongoing recruitment efforts to support the expanded fleet.

“What we’re executing is not just a scale-up, it is a realignment of the electric mobility narrative in India. As key players recalibrate, Evera is stepping forward with clear intent, absorbing proven EV assets and trusted drivers to ensure uninterrupted service across key routes,” said Nimish Trivedi, Evera Co-Founder and CEO.

This strategic acquisition is part of Evera’s multi-stage plan to strengthen its position in NCR’s airport cab market. Previously operating only from Terminal 3, the integration of these new vehicles will enable Evera to provide full-terminal coverage, enhancing their service capabilities.

The acquisition follows BluSmart’s recent suspension of operations across Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. This suspension was triggered by a SEBI ban on Gensol Engineering and its promoters, Anmol Singh Jaggi and Puneet Singh Jaggi, related to fund diversion allegations.

Evera’s expansion comes at a critical time in the electric mobility sector, demonstrating the company’s proactive approach to growth and commitment to maintaining service continuity in key markets.
