A family in Goodview, Virginia, is crediting a Metallica concert with saving their lives after a pickup truck crashed into their home. The McKee family had planned to attend Metallica’s May 7th concert at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia, which prompted them to go to bed early instead of their usual late-night TV routine. At 2:00 a.m., a pickup truck smashed through the front of their house, crashing into the living room where they would have been sitting. “The family have since credited the thrash metal titan’s concert for saving their lives,” according to the report. It appears the family didn’t attend the concert due to the accident. The incident was reported by WDBJ7.
