Farizon is making waves at the Commercial Vehicle Show with the official launch of its debut SV large van, showcasing a series of strategic partnerships with industry-leading specialists. These collaborations demonstrate Farizon’s commitment to ensuring the SV can be customized with approved conversions and enhancements, ready to tackle various use cases.
Showcasing Customization Capabilities
The star of the show is an SV converted by Paneltex, a global leader in temperature-controlled vehicle body building. This refrigerated Farizon SV maintains temperatures of 0°C thanks to a GAH refrigeration unit powered by the SV’s high-voltage electrical architecture. This innovative solution eliminates the need for supplementary batteries, reducing weight and preserving the SV’s market-leading load space. The conversion is both lightweight and thermally efficient, featuring the world’s first refrigerated van conversion with a sliding door and no B-pillar for easy access.
Motexion, a specialist in commercial vehicle interior solutions, is also showcasing its cargo-carrying protection solutions on a Farizon SV. The display features bespoke flooring, side and roof linings, and wheel arch covers, enhancing practicality, preventing damage, and improving temperature and noise insulation.
Enhancing Security and Charging
Farizon has partnered with Locks 4 Vans as its recommended security partner, offering a suite of security products designed specifically for the Farizon SV. These include hook locks, slamlocks, surface-mounted statement locks, and shielding solutions.
Wottz, specialists in EV charging products, will supply extra-long charging cables for SV users, with Farizon-approved cables available up to 7.5m long.
Advanced Features and Specifications
The all-new, born-electric Farizon SV boasts advanced innovations, including drive-by-wire technology, a unique B-pillarless design, and cell-to-pack battery packaging. These features combine to deliver market-leading cargo capacity, payload, range, and an ultra-low loading height. A single, highly specified trim level includes premium features such as a payload monitoring system, heated seats, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety systems. The SV has earned the top Platinum safety rating from Euro NCAP.
The model lineup includes various battery options and size combinations, with prices starting at £45,000 OTR (plus VAT). First deliveries are expected in Q2 2025. As part of Geely’s commercial vehicle division, Farizon is introducing the SV to the UK market through Jameel Motors UK.
Market Impact
Kate McLaren, Head of Marketing and Sales Operations at Jameel Motors UK, noted, “The CV Show is a great opportunity for us to showcase that the Farizon SV is ready for work, and can be adapted by approved specialist partners to meet specific use cases.” The Farizon SV is set to make a significant impact in the electric van market, offering tangible practical benefits for users and setting a new benchmark in the industry.
