The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) is investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Monday morning on I-95 Southbound, approximately 8 miles north of Manning. According to troopers, the incident happened at around 7:11 a.m. when a 2022 Ford pickup truck, carrying three people, collided with a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which had two occupants, both traveling southbound on I-95. The collision resulted in the death of the motorcycle’s passenger at the scene due to injuries sustained during the crash. The driver of the motorcycle was subsequently transported to McLeod Health Florence for medical treatment. The SCHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
