A tragic accident occurred in Frenchtown Township, Michigan, on Sunday when a 38-year-old Flat Rock man lost his life in a single-vehicle crash. According to the Michigan State Police, the man was driving his Ford F-150 southbound on N. Dixie Highway near Fernwood Street around 11:30 p.m. when he crossed into the northbound lane, veered off the road, struck a tree, and rolled his vehicle.
The victim was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have confirmed that preliminary investigations do not suggest drugs or alcohol were contributing factors to the crash. Currently, police are seeking witnesses to the incident and are urging anyone with information to contact MSP Trooper Cooper Roberts at 734-242-3500.
The crash remains under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
