The incident occurred in Melbourne, Florida, when Olivia Maggs was driving her minivan carrying her infant daughter and two young sons, aged 3 and 4. A Ford F-350 pickup truck traveling in an adjacent lane experienced a tire blowout, causing the driver to lose control and veer into Maggs’ lane. The resulting collision sent both vehicles off the road, where they struck a guardrail. Maggs was pronounced dead at the scene.
