When modifying a vehicle, especially a pickup truck, the risk of degrading performance is always present. However, this is not the case with this 2022 Ford F-250 turbo-diesel. The truck, originally a capable F-250 Tremor with a 6.7L PowerStroke V8, has been significantly upgraded by SuperTramp Campers to create an ultimate adventure rig.

First, the truck’s suspension was upgraded with a Carli Pintop system and custom Alcan rear leaf springs. This combination provides about three inches of lift, along with the capacity to handle a considerable load while keeping the truck level. This lift allows for the installation of 37-inch all-terrain tires. The wheels and tires were carefully selected for correct offset and weight-carrying capacity, which contributes to both the truck’s appearance and its smooth ride. The author reports that the vehicle still performs very well on side roads, dirt roads, and the highway. It’s been noted how well the suspension, wheels, and tires work together. The author notes that it drives very well on multiple surfaces.

This F-250 retains its factory hitch and trailer wiring, and it should be able to pull a sizable trailer with ease. This is possible because the truck is powered by its stock 6.7L PowerStroke V8, delivering 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
At the back, a customized Bowen bed and a new SuperTramp Flagship HT truck camper are installed. These components are designed to fit any full-size truck with a 6.5-foot bed or longer. This means the camper could potentially be used with a Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado 1500, Ram 1500, or Toyota Tundra, assuming the truck offers adequate payload and is rated for a truck camper. The Bowen bed provides extra storage on the outside, while the hard-sided Flagship HT camper offers a spacious interior with large windows.
