Free2move, a global leader in mobility services, has announced a significant expansion of its electric vehicle (EV) fleet in Germany, along with the launch of a new digital charging experience for its users.
Expanding the EV Fleet

This expansion includes the introduction of approximately 300 Fiat 500e vehicles across Berlin, Cologne, and Düsseldorf. This move reinforces Free2move’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions, making EVs more accessible to users in key German cities. The Fiat 500e is known for its iconic design and modern features.
“This expansion highlights Free2move’s commitment to delivering innovative mobility solutions and driving the shift to electric transportation. We’re excited to see our users enjoy the benefits of this efficient technology and easy-to-use charging experience” said Co-CEO Lotfi Louez.
With the inclusion of the Fiat 500e, Free2move customers gain access to an iconic brand aligned with the demands of today’s mobility. The Fiat 500e offers features such as a sleek cockpit, ergonomic seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity. Safety features include lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
Digital Charging Experience
A new digital charging experience, launched via the Free2move customer app, enhances the convenience of EV usage. This feature first debuted in Paris in late July 2024 and is now available in Germany. The aim is to expand it to all cities where Free2move offers electric vehicles.
Digital charging in the app will eliminate the need for physical charging cards, allowing users to easily view available charging stations, including real-time port availability, connector types, and maximum power. With station locations displayed on the map, drivers can plan where to park and end their rental. This makes electric mobility more convenient.
