    Fresno Man Killed in Van Accident Identified

    FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man who died after being struck by a van in central Fresno has been identified by police.

    Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Stevie Esqueda of Fresno. He was hit just after 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Hughes and Michigan Avenues by a vehicle traveling southbound.

    The driver of the van, a woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said. There were children in the woman’s car at the time of the accident. Police reported there were no signs of drug or alcohol use.

    The investigation is ongoing.
