Garland Man Dies in I-20 Crash Near Ranger
EASTLAND COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A single-vehicle crash east of Ranger on Monday night resulted in the death of a man from Garland, Texas. First responders were called to the scene on I-20, approximately 2.6 miles east of Ranger, at around 10:30 p.m. on March 17th.
Initial reports indicate that the driver of a pickup truck veered off the north side of the interstate. The vehicle subsequently struck a guardrail and a concrete bridge barrier before plunging into Russel Creek.
Cameron Bernard Murray, 37, of Garland, was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Authorities have stated that the road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the accident. Additionally, Murray was reportedly wearing a seatbelt.
