Farizon, the commercial vehicle division of Chinese automaker Geely, has revealed more details about its upcoming electric van lineup, slated to go on sale in Australia this year.
The SuperVan cargo hauler, also known as the SV, will lead the brand’s local launch, alongside H9E trucks. The vans will make their public debut next weekend in Sydney, with an official launch expected in Melbourne next month.
Farizon initially received approval for three wheelbase sizes for the SuperVan, but now plans to launch with three specific electric van models.

The Australian range will include one short-wheelbase (SWB) and two long-wheelbase (LWB) SuperVans, offered in low-roof (SWB and LWB) and high-roof (LWB only) configurations. The company has provided the following expected dimensions based on information and approval documents:
- Short-wheelbase: Not specified in article
- Long-wheelbase: Not specified in article

Each van will be powered by an 83kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, linked to a 170kW and 336Nm electric motor driving the front wheels. While full details are forthcoming, the low-roof SuperVan is claimed to have a driving range of 376km on the WLTP test cycle. What’s more, it’s the first electric van in Australia to offer vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, which allows owners to power tools using the onboard battery.
Additional features encompass “30 different safety features,” a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, a surround-view camera, 270-degree barn doors, and heated and ventilated seats. Ventilated seats are a particularly unusual feature for a commercial vehicle.

Available sliding side doors may or may not have windows. All electric van versions will have 16-inch wheels. Pricing is still pending, but given the SuperVan’s similarity in dimensions and battery capacity to the LDV eDeliver 7 — available in short- and long-wheelbase forms — it may be priced in the $60,000 to $70,000 range.
The mid-sized electric van market in Australia currently includes the eDeliver 7, Peugeot E-Expert, Mercedes-Benz eVito, and Volkswagen ID.Buzz Cargo. The Ford E-Transit Custom is expected to launch this year, further expanding options for electric van customers in the country.
