General Motors has issued a recall for 32 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans from the 2025 model year. The recall is due to a potential issue with the front passenger seat head restraint, which may not have been properly welded to the seat frame. According to the company, this could pose a serious risk to passengers in the event of an accident, as the head restraint plays a crucial role in minimizing neck injuries.
Dealers will address the issue by inspecting the seat and replacing the entire seat frame if necessary. As required by law, dealers will perform these repairs free of charge. Although manufacturers will attempt to contact all affected owners, some may not receive notification. Vehicle owners can check if their car requires any critical safety repairs by visiting the recall center.
