The 2025 Genesis Electrified GV70 has clinched the title of Best Luxury Car from Cars.com, marking its second year in a row taking home the gold. This repeated win underscores the Electrified GV70’s impressive mix of high-end luxury, punchy performance, and advanced electric vehicle tech.
Cars.com’s editorial crew singled out the Electrified GV70 for its user-friendliness, enjoyable driving experience, and head-turning style. The award is open to all luxury vehicles from the 2025 model year.
Tedros Mengiste, Genesis’s COO, shared that the brand is all about building cars that make driving more enjoyable. Mike Hanley, a Senior Road Test Editor, raved about the Electrified GV70’s plush interior, its powerful electric motor, and its quick-charging capability.
As the first EV made in the US, the Electrified GV70 is a best-seller in its class. The 2026 model is set to get a bump with an 84kWh battery and support for the North American Charging Standard (NACS).
The Electrified GV70 went on sale in early 2023, swiftly becoming the top-selling electric SUV for Genesis. This hot ride is rolling off the assembly line from Genesis’s Montgomery, Alabama, factory, available in various states.
