Genesis Tops Luxury Auto TV Ad Rankings
Genesis has taken the lead in the ranking of most-seen luxury auto TV ads with its innovative ‘No Old Ideas’ campaign promoting the 2026 GV70. According to iSpot’s analysis for the period of May 19-25, the ad garnered an impressive 127.9 million national TV ad impressions.
Sports Drive Reach for Luxury Auto Commercials
Sports programming played a significant role in the reach of four out of the top five luxury auto commercials. The Genesis ad, which features lightbulbs with legs crawling over the 2026 GV70 before it zooms off, was particularly successful during PGA Tour golf, accounting for 10.5% of its total impressions. Reality TV was another key focus, contributing nearly a third of the total impressions. Viewers surveyed by iSpot’s Creative Assessment praised the ad’s visual scenes, with 41% stating they were the “single best thing” about the commercial.
