Man Arrested, Charged with OWI Following Fruitport Twp. Rollover Crash
MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — A 25-year-old man from Hastings was taken into custody Thursday following a rollover crash in Fruitport Township, according to police.
The collision occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Airline Road and S. Dangl Road. Authorities report that a Chevy pickup truck, traveling southbound, disregarded a red light and struck a northbound sedan.

The impact caused the sedan to roll over. Two occupants of the sedan were transported to a local hospital for evaluation of their injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was detained at the Muskegon County Jail after being assessed for his own injuries. He has been charged with OWI (Operating While Intoxicated), his third offense.
