Police are currently pursuing a speeding pickup truck that initially fled from officers of the West Covina Police Department. The California Highway Patrol later took over the pursuit as the driver entered the freeways.
The high-speed chase continued through downtown Los Angeles, where the driver was observed driving on the wrong side of the road and into oncoming traffic repeatedly. The driver also turned off the vehicle’s headlights while inexplicably circling near 8th Street and Grand Avenue.
