Hillsborough Deputy’s Cruiser Involved in Crash
BRANDON, Fla. — A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputy’s cruiser flipped after a collision with a pickup truck on Wednesday, according to traffic camera video.
The accident occurred at approximately 2:43 p.m. while the deputy was responding to a call, the HCSO reported. The pickup truck entered the intersection of Bloomingdale Avenue and Gornto Lake Road, colliding with the deputy’s vehicle, which had its lights and sirens activated.

The collision caused the HCSO cruiser to overturn. It came to rest after hitting another vehicle.
The deputy sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for evaluation. No other injuries were reported.
