Honda’s New Super EV Concept
Honda is set to unveil its new Super EV concept at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the tiny electric hatchback appears to be nearly production-ready. The company has released a single image of the car, disguised, crossing Westminster Bridge in front of the UK’s Houses of Parliament.
Production-Ready Features
The Super EV concept boasts several production-ready features, including full-size wing mirrors, fully-framed windows, functioning door handles, and a reasonably-sized wheel and tire combination. The only potential modification for production could be the concept’s wide and chunky wheel arches.

Market Positioning
Honda describes the Super EV as an A-segment model, positioning it to compete against the upcoming all-electric Renault Twingo in Europe. It may even fit within kei car dimensions, allowing it to be sold in Japan with lower taxes and road charges.
Design and Features
The Super EV’s styling fits into Honda’s N family of kei cars template, thanks to its round headlights. Honda claims the concept combines ‘fun-to-drive’ characteristics with ‘trademark Honda usability’ and has been tested in the UK as part of its global development program.
Drivetrain and Performance
While drivetrain details remain undisclosed, the Super EV is expected to improve upon the Honda E hatchback, which had a limited WLTP range rating of 222km due to its 35.5kWh battery and 100kW or 113kW motor.
Goodwood Festival of Speed
The 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place from July 10 to 13, where Honda will likely showcase the Super EV concept.
