Djarum Group, through its electronics manufacturing arm Polytron, has launched its first domestically assembled electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia. The two models, Polytron G3 and Polytron G3+, have a driving range of up to 402 kilometers and are powered by lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 51.916 kilowatt-hours.
Key Details of Polytron’s Electric Vehicles
The Polytron G3 and G3+ are adaptations of Skyworth Auto’s EV6 car, developed in partnership with Chinese automaker Skyworth Auto. This marks Djarum Group as the first Indonesian conglomerate to launch EVs in the country.
