Isuzu has officially unveiled the production version of its D-Max EV, a fully-electric pickup truck that made its debut at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand last March. While the D-Max EV retains a similar appearance to its fossil-fueled counterpart, it features significant underlying differences.
Production of the electric pickup truck has begun in Thailand, with Isuzu simultaneously introducing the all-electric D-Max in Europe and the United Kingdom. The Europe-spec D-Max EV, configured for left-hand drive, will be manufactured in Thailand and is expected to reach designated markets in the third quarter of 2025. In contrast, production of the right-hand drive D-Max EV is scheduled to commence by the end of this year, with UK sales anticipated to start in 2026. The model will be rolled out in other countries and regions based on market demand.

Exteriors & Interiors
The all-electric D-Max is visually identical to the facelifted diesel-powered D-Max available in international markets. The only noticeable differences are the addition of blue accents on the twin-slatted front grille and headlamps, along with sportier black alloy wheels. Currently, the D-Max EV is only available in a dual-cab version.

The D-Max EV also benefits from an updated suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, although specific details are currently not available.
Battery & Motor Specs
The Isuzu D-Max EV is equipped with a 66.9 kWh battery that promises a range of up to 263 km (WLTP) on a single charge. The battery can be recharged at up to 50 kW DC fast charging in under an hour from 20 to 80 percent. Using an 11 kW AC home charger, the battery takes 10 hours to fully recharge from 0 to 100 percent.
The pickup truck is powered by a dual-motor setup, with one motor on each axle, resulting in a combined output of 188 bhp and 325 Nm of torque. Isuzu claims a 0-100 kph time of 10.1 seconds and a top speed exceeding 125 kmph.
