The Isuzu Traviz currently comes in diverse body styles, including a cab and chassis version, a UV, an aluminum van, a dropside pickup, and a refrigerated van. The company recently unveiled a concept at the 2025 Isuzu Truck Fest that could further expand the Traviz’s market presence: the Cargo Van concept.
This concept immediately evokes comparisons to the Versa Van. While Isuzu Philippines has designated it a cargo van, its configuration suggests it could also accommodate passengers.

The interior features four rows of seating. The first two rows offer three-abreast seating, while the last two rows have flip-down seats, accommodating two or three occupants. This seating arrangement will surely bring back memories for Gen-Xers and older millennials who grew up with L300 vans.

The rear seats are fixed. There appears to be ample space under the seats, offering potential storage options. Rear passengers will benefit from a blower, which is a welcome addition.
Stylistically, the concept combines elements of the Traviz, other vans, and the prior-generation D-Max. The front end is unmistakably Traviz, while the side profile calls to mind the high-roof versions of the previous Hiace Super Grandia and Nissan NV350. The tail lights seem to be derived from the old D-Max.

Under the hood, the concept likely uses the same 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine found in the rest of the Traviz range, producing 77hp and 177Nm of torque. Since the Traviz is not available with an automatic transmission, this concept is presumably equipped with a five-speed manual gearbox.
For now, the Isuzu Traviz Van is just a concept. However, if there’s enough consumer interest, the company might decide to put it into production. Could this be the modern-day Versa Van? It could be, but it will depend on competitive pricing.
