JAC Showcases Electric Vehicle Innovations at Beijing Auto Show
The 2024 Beijing International Automobile Exhibition, themed “New Era, New Cars,” opened its doors on April 25th. JAC (Jianghuai Automobile Group), a prominent Chinese automobile brand, seized the opportunity to unveil its latest advancements. The company presented its technology vision concept car and a range of new smart electric vehicles under the theme “Big Wisdom, World JAC.”
Diverse Range of New Models
JAC’s display featured the technology vision concept car, the RF8 Harmony Edition, the new T9 EV, the JAC X8 hybrid, and the E30X, among other models. This diverse lineup aims to offer users a comprehensive and innovative travel experience. Key figures from JAC, including Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager Xiang Xingchu, and General Manager Li Ming, were present at the event. Representatives from strategic partners such as Huawei, CATL, Horizon, iFlytek, Tencent, ZF, and Ting Dynamics also attended.
RF8 Harmony Edition Launch
As the first model built on China’s pioneering exclusive MPV architecture, the MUSE architecture, the RF8 Harmony Edition was officially launched at the auto show. Notably, this MPV is the first in China equipped with Huawei’s engine. This launch highlights JAC’s commitment to exceeding consumer expectations through innovative technology and design.

Vision Concept Car Unveiled
Marking the first anniversary of JAC Group’s brand value, “leading intelligence with intelligence,” the company’s new technology vision concept car made its debut at the show as well. This concept car represents JAC’s ongoing developments in “intelligent architecture, smart chassis, smart cockpit, and intelligent driving.” It signifies a significant step forward in JAC Group’s transformation and its increasing focus on intelligent technology.

Strategic Partnerships and Future Plans
On the eve of the Beijing Auto Show, JAC and Huawei Digital Energy signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. This agreement strengthens their existing collaborations, focusing on the integration and advancement of electric vehicle technologies. The agreement covers vehicle design and development, intelligent components, charging infrastructure, and international expansion.

JAC has outlined plans to launch a new product matrix that encompasses over 30 models across five categories: sedans, SUVs, MPVs, pickups, and off-road vehicles. This comprehensive range will cater to a variety of scenarios, including high-end business, urban commuting and leisure, multi-person travel, and off-road adventures. The company aims to build an open, win-win ecosystem in collaboration with its partners.
