KG Mobility’s Musso EV Pickup Truck Enters Global Market
KG Mobility (KGM) is making significant strides in the electric vehicle market with its Musso EV pickup truck, Korea’s first fully electric pickup. The company has begun exporting the Musso EV to Europe, marking a major milestone in its global expansion plans.
Musso EV Gains Traction in Korea and Beyond
The Musso EV has generated considerable interest in Korea, with over 3,200 orders received within two weeks of its launch in March. The Special Edition model sold out in just an hour and a half, demonstrating strong demand. The pickup truck is positioned as a versatile alternative to mid-size SUVs, offering ample interior space and practicality for everyday use.

Key Features of the Musso EV
The Musso EV measures 5,160 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,740 mm in height, comparable in size to the Ford Ranger. It features a modern infotainment system with a dual 12.3″ display setup, including a driver cluster and touchscreen navigation. The electric pickup also boasts a ClearSite Ground View camera system, allowing drivers to see beneath the vehicle.

The Musso EV is powered by an 86.6 kWh LFP battery, offering a range of nearly 250 miles (400 km). It supports fast charging at up to 200 kW, enabling an 80% charge in 24 minutes. The pickup is available in both single-motor FWD and dual-motor AWD configurations, with the latter producing up to 413 horsepower. It has a towing capacity of almost 4,000 lbs (1.8 tons) and includes a trailer sway function for added stability.
Pricing and Export Plans
The Musso EV starts at 48 million won (approximately $35,000), but with incentives, the price can be reduced to 39.62 million won ($29,000). The first batch of Musso EVs, totaling 184 units, was shipped to Europe on June 12, with sales set to commence in August in markets including Germany, Spain, Norway, and Hungary. KGM expects the Musso EV to be a driving force in its global expansion efforts, building on its recent surge in exports.
As KGM continues to expand its presence in the global electric vehicle market, the Musso EV pickup truck is poised to play a significant role in the company’s growth strategy.
