LAKE CITY, Fla. – A Lake City woman died Wednesday evening after being hit by a pickup truck, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on US Highway 441 near Northwest Quinten Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. The driver of the northbound pickup truck struck the 54-year-old woman while she was walking in the lane. Troopers confirmed that the woman died at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
