Local Man Hospitalized After I-75 Rollover
DETROIT – A 66-year-old man was hospitalized early Saturday morning after losing control of his pickup truck on I-75 in Detroit, according to Michigan State Police.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. on March 22, 2025, in the southbound lanes of I-75 near Meade Avenue. Police reported that the driver was traveling south in the center lane when he veered off the roadway. The truck then went up the embankment of an entrance ramp, crossed both ramps to I-75, and then up the embankment of southbound I-75. The vehicle subsequently rolled over and came to rest on the highway.
Upon arriving at the scene, troopers found the man unconscious on the ground. The crash blocked the entrance ramp. Emergency medical services transported the driver to a local hospital for medical treatment. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
