LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – A pedestrian was killed Wednesday night after being hit by a pickup truck in the 1600 block of Pine Tree Road. According to the Longview Police Department, the pedestrian attempted to cross the street but failed to yield the right of way. Police responded to the scene just after 10:30 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries.
