Luxury Car Theft Operation Shut Down in East Arkansas
On December 9, 2024, a joint operation involving the Arkansas State Police (ASP), the Second Judicial Drug Task Force (DTF), and the Blytheville Police Department resulted in the recovery of two high-end vehicles.
During a traffic stop conducted in Mississippi County, law enforcement officers intercepted a car hauler transporting a 2022 Lamborghini Urus, a 2022 Porsche Panamera, and two other undisclosed vehicles. ASP Troopers, upon inspection, discovered the Lamborghini bore a false vehicle identification number (VIN).

The Lamborghini had previously been reported stolen back in 2022 from Sarasota, Florida. Further investigation revealed that the Porsche’s VIN had also been altered. The combined value of the Lamborghini and Porsche is estimated to be around $460,000.
This bust is a significant win for law enforcement, disrupting what seems to be a lucrative luxury car theft operation. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to locate those responsible and potentially recover other stolen vehicles.
The collaborative work between multiple agencies highlights the importance of teamwork in fighting crime and protecting public property.
This successful operation shows the diligence of Arkansas law enforcement in tackling criminal activity.
