The Marion County Safety Cadets organized their second annual car show on May 17 at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. The event showcased an impressive array of vintage and classic vehicles that drew significant attention from car enthusiasts.
The car show featured a diverse collection of vehicles, including a 1962 International firetruck, various Pontiac models such as a GTO and a Star Chief, and Chevrolet classics like a 1959 Corvette and a 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup truck.
Other notable exhibits included a 1966 Dodge Charger, a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am, and a 1992 Chevy Camaro, alongside police cars such as a 1975 and 1988 Plymouth Fury.
The event demonstrated the community’s interest in preserving automotive history while supporting local safety initiatives through the Safety Cadets program.
